4 day - Beyond the Basics: The Next Step in Throwing

This 4-day Beyond the Basics: The Next Step in Throwing Class is designed for returning students who want to refine their technique, explore form and function, and truly level up their wheel throwing skills. 

Here’s what the journey looks like:

• Day 1: Mastering the Basics
  We revisit the foundations of centering and pulling clay — focusing on precision, consistency, and control.

• Day 2: Exploring Form & Function
  Create functional pieces like mugs, bowls, or plates, and learn trimming techniques to refine them.

• Day 3: Surface Design & Creative Detailing
  Explore carving, texturing, and surface finishing to bring out your personal style.

• Day 4: Glazing
  A hands-on glazing session to complete your ceramic pieces and prepare them for firing.

What’s included:

• 3-hour guided sessions

• 4kg of stoneware clay in total
  

• Use of pottery wheel, tools, underglazes, and apron

• Free 2x Studio Use (valid within 60 days after your last session — perfect for practice or passion projects)

• Glazing and firing for all finished pieces (yup, included already!)

• Certificate of completion

📌 Note: Completion of our 1-Day Wheel Throwing class is required before enrolling. This class is for students ready to expand their skills, experiment with form, and explore creative expression on the wheel.
