Studio Policies
1. Reservations & Booking
• All classes must be reserved at least two (2) days in advance.
• All bookings must be made exclusively through our official website: www.studiomatisse.ph
• Each potter may hold one active booking at a time.
2. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling requests depend on class capacity, weather conditions, and emergency situations.
• Potters must inform the studio at least two (2) business days before their scheduled session.
• Only one (1) reschedule is allowed per booking and is applicable for emergencies.
Rescheduling Fees |
|
|---|---|
| More than 24 hours before class | No Fee |
| Less than 24 hours before class | ₱500 per person |
| No-show | ₱800 per person |
3. Cancellation & Rebooking
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. In such cases, we encourage potters to rebook for a future date.
• All payments are non-refundable but transferable.
• If a potter chooses not to rebook, the booking is considered forfeited.
4. No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a potter fails to attend their scheduled class without prior notice.
• No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
• Potters may still request to rebook, subject to availability.
• A ₱800 per person rebooking fee will apply to compensate for materials, instructor preparation, studio time, and logistical costs already incurred.
5. Grace Period & Late Arrival
• A 15-minute grace period is observed from the official class start time.
• Potters who arrive after the grace period may still join the class, but their session may be shortened to avoid disrupting the group. Missed time cannot be extended or refunded.
6. Ceramic Pieces: Processing, Storage & Release
• Finished ceramic pieces will be ready for pickup within 4–6 weeks after the workshop.
• All pieces go through drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
• Due to the nature of ceramics, some pieces may crack or break because of air pockets or uneven drying. This is a normal part of the process.
• Unclaimed unfired pieces may be disposed of.
• After six (6) months of being unclaimed, finished pieces may be sold, donated, or disposed of at the studio’s discretion.
• Studio Matisse is not liable for damage, breakage, or loss of unclaimed pieces while in storage.
